Meeting with Monarch’s Managing Director, Kevin wanted a film to rival his competitors and to assert his company’s position as No. 1 in its class. As a merchant website, and non-public-facing, Monarch was effectively communicating with a building and plumbing merchant and installer audience. We worked closely with Kevin, whose depth of industry knowledge ensured that the more technical aspects of the product were represented accurately. Discriminating, Kevin’s feedback was always direct and to the point, which fueled the team to access a creative and relevant solution.

Equally, the MD was always receptive to our rationale, directing us with pointers to alternative solutions. From the start, Kevin was impassioned about communicating the benefits of soft water, valuing education as a key component. Subsequently, we edited the 60-second film down to 15-second adverts, to air across digital channels, adapting the remit to extend to a national audience and leading the public through to the business’s #lovesoftwater campaign.
